BLOCKSMITH&Co. Becomes Official Sponsor of "BLOCKCHAIN HACKATHON for students", Organized by Tokyo University Students Starting December 3rd

BLOCKSMITH＆Co. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Tetsuya Sanada; hereinafter "BLOCKSMITH") is pleased to announce that it will be an official sponsor of the "BLOCKCHAIN HACKATHON for students" to be held from December 3rd to 10th, 2022, organized by Hongo web3 valley, a Web3 community of Tokyo University students run by 2WINS Corporation (headquartered in Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Toru Ogawaku and Ryota Yoshimura).

In addition, Tetsuya Sanada, CEO of BLOCKSMITH will speak on the stage at the Input Session on Saturday 3rd December, the first day of the event.

About "BLOCKCHAIN HACKATHON for students"

The first hackathon for students will be held under the theme of "Local Development x Blockchain" with a number of distinguished judges. It plans to develop Web3 services intertwined with local development, education, health, social networking, and finance. Since this event is geared toward beginners, there will be a one-day basic blockchain workshop, which will be opened to students who have never been exposed to blockchain technology.

About "Hongo web3 valley"

A Web3 community founded by current Tokyo University students who saw the potential in the cutting-edge area of Web3. They work on blockchain technology as an important part of their activities, and aim to become a Web3 group for students from the University of Tokyo who can create and develop businesses.
