KLab Invests In VR Live Concert Platform Operator ActEvolve Inc.
KLab Inc.(TSE Prime Market: 3656)
Tokyo, Japan ‐ August 7, 2019 - KLab Inc., a leader in online mobile games, announced that it has reached an agreement to purchase shares of ActEvolve Inc. ActEvolve is the developer and provider of VARK, a VR live concert platform.

ActEvolve was founded in 2017 by a group of experienced former employees of major game companies. In November 2018, it released a VR live concert platform known as "VARK" (https://vark.co.jp). VARK allows players to experience new ways of enjoying live concerts, from "performers singing to you from right next to you" to "action experiences that blend music with the player's choices."
* VARK is a service that displays high-quality, diverse live concerts and musicals performed by artists such as virtual YouTubers within a VR experience, allowing players to feel as if they are inside a music venue.
As part of KLab's efforts over the upcoming mid-term, it plans to actively contribute to an alliance designed to foster the growth of the business into game-adjacent areas, such as multi-device and multi-platform development and usage of non-game IPs.
Directly investing in the company through the purchase of shares is one part of that, and by collaborating with ActEvolve, KLab hopes to bring many of its fans and players a service that will create an even bigger world of excitement for them to enjoy.
KLab will continue to actively invest in new cooperative partnerships.
