First-Ever Worldwide Dream Championship For “Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team”!

Tokyo, Japan – March 25, 2019 – KLab Inc., a leader in online mobile games, announced that its head-to-head football simulation game Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team will hold its first-ever worldwide Dream Championship tournament to decide the top player in the entire world. 16 finalists chosen both online and offline will win trips to Japan to compete in the finals in fall 2019.
This inaugural tournament will be the ultimate chance for players who want to face off against strong opponents to battle it out for total world dominance.

Both offline and online qualifying matches will be held around the world to determine the players for the Dream Championship finals. Only the winners from each qualifier will be allowed to advance to the finals, held in person in Tokyo this fall.
Dream Championship 2019 Details
Tournament Overview
Offline qualifiers will be held in four major cities worldwide, and online qualifiers will be held inside the game. A total of 16 finalists overall will be chosen as the result of all the qualifiers combined. These finalists will win trips to Tokyo to participate in the Dream Championship finals. A roundtrip flight from the finalist’s home country to Japan and hotel costs for at least two nights will be covered.

Prizes
The 16 finalists will receive an in-game badge, and the winner will receive an in-game badge, as well as a Dream Championship trophy and an original illustration by Yoichi Takahashi, the creator of the Captain Tsubasa manga.
