KLab is a company that focuses on the planning, developing and operation of mobile online games, and expanding its business with minimal environmental impact. In addition, the company will do its best to contribute to global environmental conservation as much as possible by making effective use of office resources and reducing GHG emissions generated through its corporate activities.

At KLab, the company is promoting the digitization of internal document management as part of improving operational efficiency and promoting remote work, and along with this, there is progress in paperless work.

Moving Into an Office with High Environmental Performance

Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, the head office of KLab, has high environmental performance in terms of coexistence with the city and nature, low carbonization of the city, resource recycling, etc., and has been certified with the S rank under the CASBEE* real estate evaluation certification.

In addition, since the power used at Roppongi Hills Mori Tower has been switched to 100% renewable energy from October 2022, the power used by KLab at the head office has also been replaced with renewable energy.

Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency (CASBEE)

Under the leadership of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, this system was established for the purpose of properly recognizing and evaluating profitable properties such as office buildings that have high environmental performance, are well managed, and have high environmental value.

It consists of five categories of "Energy / GHG," "Water," "Materials," "Biodiversity / Sustainable Site," and "Indoor Environment" that is an evaluation item taking into account common global indexes such as LEED, which is an international environmental assessment.

Efforts to Reduce the Environmental Impact of Office Operations

In office, the company is switching to LED lights, curbing electricity consumption by using an automatic turn-off function, and promoting recycling by thoroughly enforcing the rules for sorting waste generated within the company, and indirectly contributing to the realization of a decarbonized society.
